Warrior Arts vs Martial Arts: What is the difference? This is a very, very interesting topic because of each name. First, a re-cap. I spent some time explaining what " Martial Arts" literally means. It is ( The Art (s) of mars a Roman God of war. It has always been interesting to me how The other arts associates themselves with Rome. In history they were at war with each other for centuries. The meaning of the Warrior Arts seems similar but very different. The word warrior literally means to engage or specialize in combat or warfare.
That is in direct line with ancient Kemet ( or other Warrior Tribes for that fact). The Warrior Arts looks for the spiritual, psychological, and physical meaning of how to war. Human Development made all the different on building a strong defense in Kemet. Does this mean that Martial Arts does not have a portion this? No. But, what it does mean is, Martial Arts is focused on the mechanics of the mind when it comes to combat rather than the spiritual aspects of it. This is why it is promoted as a recreational activities for children. Warrior Arts focus on the Ethics of Combat, Rules of Engagement, and the Use of Force. In Kemet hearing from the Gods was critical to combat and warfare. To consult with AMUN was vital to decision making. I will give a part 2 to this. Learn. Grow and Prosper.
